About Us 


Unlike other cookie-cutter PR agencies, JBLH COMMUNICATIONS believes in working with the client and the client's needs. Who you speak with during your presentation is also who will be working on your account.  There's no "bait and switch" like at other agencies and all of our staff members have 10+ years experience in PR and journalism.

 

We’re also bottom line people, not just financially bottom line people (it’s good for your business that we stay on budget!), but we’ll give you the “bottom line” and tell you the truth. We don’t believe in pandering to our clients or treating them like children. Our clients hire us because they trust our judgment and expertise, and they know we will give it to them straight – no fluff, no BS. We tell clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear...and they appreciate our candor!


JBLH COMMUNICATIONS'History
Founded in early 2003 by Jocelyn Brandeis and Lauren Hackett, JBLH Communications began as a small PR agency with local NYC clients.  Ms. Hackett left in late-2003 for a full-time in-house position, and Ms. Brandeis continued to build the business into a consultancy with larger clients who requested national campaigns and more creativity.
